The Value Of Styling...For Real

IMG_1710 IMG_1712 IMG_1715 IMG_1721 IMG_1693 It's refreshing to find unique, interesting items to style my clients' homes with. I tire of shopping in big box, home decor stores just to save a few bucks. Filling a home full of the predictable or trendy is boring and not very sophisticated. A home should be full of interesting things that reflect who you are and what you love! A true personal style should endure the test of time. I love shopping in the town of Stratford. It has a world-renowned theatre, so it's no surprise it's also a trove of specialty stores. Interesting little shops like MacLeod's Scottish Shop for authentic tartan blankets or Bradshaw's for linens and quality kitchen stuff that even Nigella would love to own! There is an art to styling whether you learn to hone your own great taste or hire a decorator to interpret your style (the better option if you're not inclined in that skill). It's a huge part of making a home special and I believe the art of it should be valued more. But then again, I'm biased. [pin text = "Styling"]
